LoveHustle Brunch

LoveHustle Brunch is a part of FALL 2023 OPEN HOUSE, kicking off in September 2023. Beginning with a Block Party featuring a Live Acoustic Electric DJ set by CRITICAL BREAKS Alum Zane Rodulfo, followed by a Work in Process of BRICKS by Charlene Jean, OPEN HOUSE will feature local vendors and artists and serve as a community gathering and celebration. In the weeks that follow, we will engage our community with dance, music, and much more! All this will take place from our home at El Barrio’s Artspace PS109 in East Harlem! While LoveHustle Brunch is an invitation-only experience, OPEN HOUSE is open to all. Please join us in September.
Fall 2023 OPEN HOUSE
We are a curated community. Intentionally Black-led, wellness focused, possibility driven, and healing centered. LoveHustle was created by Monica L. Williams, a conceptual artist and founder of Creative Legacy Projects, LLC, as a ten year social experiment beginning in 2013. Williams interviewed over 55 Black artists about love, family, art, and the work to balance it all.
Between 2013 and 2023, 13 performance installations were created in collaboration with award-winning artists like Dominique Morisseau and Mahogany L. Brown and premiered at places like Summerstage NYC and TEDWomen. Today, LoveHustle continues as a gathering space for, by and about artist well-being, a digital community of self-motivation, and a merchandise hub that helps fund the creation and development of new performance installations.
