Hi-ARTS is currently seeking a dancer to participate in rehearsals and a staged reading of GUTTAH: PART II for Maleek Rae’s CRITICAL BREAKS Residency.

Role Description
Proficient in improvisation with a background in hip hop and majorette dance. Black, size inclusive, gender inclusive. Preference for gender expansive folks. Open and comfortable referring to the work, the process, and their contribution as ceremony.

  • Headshot

  • 60 seconds of improvisation

  • 30-second video answering the prompt: “What does ceremony mean to you?”
