N. Carlos J.
As the 2023 ONE WALL MOVEMENT Muralist, Hi-ARTS will support N. Carlos J. in the development of a large-scale mural to be installed and revealed in Summer 2023.
N. Carlos J. (he/him) is a painter, designer and muralist who employs painting, illustration and drawing elements within his works. With a degree in Fine Arts and a background in mural painting, his works range from smaller multiples to large scale murals in the public forum. He began his study in fine arts at the High School of Art and Design, and continued at the Fashion Institute of Technology where he received his BFA.
To help illustrate my mural design, I chose the song by Whitney Houston “Greatest Love of All” to help express my feelings. Our children are our future and if we teach them well, they WILL lead the way to a better future. We must cultivate and nourish with love, guidance, protection and intelligence so that their minds grow like fruit and flowers.
