Social Practice Innovation Network (SPIN) is as an advisory and community creative practice based collective. Through SPIN, Hi-ARTS works with local government, community based organizations, and arts and cultural institutions to address problems that face urban communities such as criminal justice, mass incarceration, community and domestic violence, and urban development. This is accomplished through dialogue, involvement in projects, and the development of new approaches to social issues. This work puts the arts and artists at the forefront of dealing with the issues that make a difference to our communities.
