Journal to Journey 

In its sixth year, Journal to Journey is a five month intensive in which high school students write, stage, perform, and present their own one-person show in an ensemble with program cohorts. The program provides students with a director and writing mentor to help structure and build the work. Journal to Journey is developed in collaboration with Urban Word and presented at Hi-ARTS and other presenting organizations. The program helps students develop the artistic and creative skills to address serious subject matter and gain valuable performance experience and audience feedback while building confidence that is applied to real life.
